More work with the vellum and gold leaf prints. After many experiments learning my relationship with this process, I have come to a reckoning and am happy. Lots of trial and error, but now I am about to show the work. I have three images framed 20×16 – small prints, but that is where they ‘shine’. The images above cannot show the shimmer of the gold leaf, but it is surely there, and seen well in person. They have an organic quality and a personal feel in their presentation. They will be shown in the Perspectives show at Confluence Gallery, November 19, 2022 thru January 7, 2023.

Tea Welcome, 1997

I have just delivered 16 pieces to an upcoming three-person show on Bainbridge Island, across the Sound from Seattle, WA. The show will happen in July, and I will post more about the show soon. The show has given me the opportunity to print some older work and it has been a joy to see them come alive once again.
